The Flintridge Press

Claire Liu
Grade:  12

Years on Staff:  2

What do you like to do in your free time?  Oil painting, learning arrangements and new pieces on the piano, reading and watching sci-fi (Black Mirror!), going on long runs with friends, and playing with my cat Milo.

Why are you writing for The Flintridge Press?  Writing has been my main creative outlet since I was a child, and more recently, a means to reach out to an audience and start discussion on pressing social and cultural issues.

What other activities do you participate in at Prep?  I am a Girls Cross Country runner, President of Music for the World Club & Crescendo A Cappella Club, and a member of the Flintridge Singers. I also perform as a pianist at school events.
