As fourth quarter comes to an end and senior graduation draws nearer, The Flintridge Press asked the graduating Class of ‘26: “If you had a spotlight, what would you shine it on?” The responses to the prompt ranged from cherished memories to laughable moments over their high school careers. In answering this simple question, the senior class reflected on their favorite parts of their Flintridge Prep experience. Here are a few of them:
Sam Cooper: Playing Shake It Off at JPD
Dylan Docter: Section C of AP Gov saluting to a pink, wall-sized flag of Ms. Zellerbach’s face.
Akemi Fu: Daniel Eitan popping out with a cartwheel and then singing for the rest of morning meeting.
Vittoria Montagna: Eating yogurt with my French class right before failing the AP.
Corbin Paxton: Being beckoned in AP LIT during the Pride and Prejudice ballroom dance
Carter Morrell: The global studies trip to South Africa.
Liam Carrig-Braun: If I had a spotlight, I would shine it on the Flintridge Prep Cross Country team.
Dylan Choi: If I had a spotlight, I would shine it on the Flintridge Prep Three Cheese Mac.
Natalie Gharibian: If I had a spotlight, I would shine it on Prep’s M&M cookies.
Isaac Jung: The class-wide soccer game we had on the first day of Junior Class Trips, it went back and forth for over an hour and expanded from 15 to 40+ people.
Zachary Tsai: The musical.
Grace Hayes: Me in my prom dress.
Ben Baker: When I lost the weight!
